We take your care-giver background check order through an online ordering system. The system is secure (see our Security Statement) and all connections are encrypted using a state-of-the-art 128 bit encryption process. After you click on any of the "order online" links that are to be found throughout the site, you will be linked to our system using the 128 bit encrypted link. You can check the security of the link by looking at the address bar, where the URL (web page address) will be prefixed by "https://" (https: stands for a secure link rather than the standard http: prefix), or at the bottom of your browser, where you will see a padlock symbol. If the padlock is "closed" then the link is secure.

In our quest to improve the security of our online ordering system we are evaluating an online digital signature system called iSign. Currently, use of this system is OPTIONAL. If you make an order then you may have access to this system through our online ordering process. Use it if you choose. iSign is a web browser interface that allows you to make a signature, using with your mouse as a "pen." The signature is a legal and valid encrypted confirmation that you did order the Business Report. This almost completely removes the possibility that someone else could order a report or any other service from us, and charge it to your credit card or commercial account. This system is OPTIONAL at the moment, while we evaluate our clients impressions and use of the system. Please try it out. It is the way of the future as credit card fraud becomes an increasing internet problem.

Don't expect your signature as written with a mouse to be perfect, but it will be a very good facsimile of your regular written signature, and it will be a unique and characteristic signature that no one else will be able to duplicate or forge. Your signature is encrypted and stored in our database as a unique number. This can in the future be used to compare the stored signature with your signature when you make a repeat order, thereby confirming the validity of your order. Note: no one can make a copy of your signature by illegally accessing our systems. The network is secure, and the encrypted signature file cannot be decoded. This online credit card purchasing system is far more secure than any signed paper credit card counterfoil that may be sitting in another companies files, or cash drawer after you make a purchase.

If at any point you have a problem with your online order, please call us at 1-800-315-7678, and we will take your order over the telephone. Problems usually occur because of poor or slow internet connections, but if there is a problem that generates some kind of fault or warning, then please email Customer Service and then phone your order in.

Fraudulent or Contested Credit Card Charges
For unsubstantiated, contested, or fraudulent credit card charges, there will be an additional $25.00 MINIMUM processing charge plus collection and legal fees, if incurred. By placing an order with us you hereby agree to these terms.

Cancellations
If you call to cancel your order BEFORE the order is processed, then there will be a $15 cancellation charge assessed. BUT please be advised that once your request has been transmitted to our researchers it is NOT possible for us to cancel the charges, nor change or expedite the order.
